Brenda is our fearless leader and possibly the most organized individual you'll ever meet.   As our owner and president, Brenda brings creativity, fun and enthusiasm and induces laughter from those around her.   For nearly 15 years, Brenda has worked with global Fortune 500 companies, providing marketing strategy and premium branded merchandise.  

She was raised in a restaurant family in New England, which led her to develop gourmet cooking skills and accrue over 20 years of management experience in the hospitality business.   The shift to social marketing has come naturally to Brenda, as it encompasses all the skills to make people feel welcome. 

Brenda has a ravenous curiosity.   Constantly seeking new challenges and always reading, she's on the lookout twenty-four/seven.   Whether it's a new social web experiment or the best way to make chili, she's on it.   But the natural explorer in her transcends doorways and computer screens. Which is why you'll often find her enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Lyle Speirs  |  Chief Buzzbomb

Founder and Advisor

 

 

If things in the office are teetering on boring, Lyle's there to manufacture some chaos. Lyle infuses our world with passion and energy, never failing to shake things up.   After traveling the globe, this native Oregonian returned to Bend 10 years ago to work, raise his family and devote himself to the economic growth and well-being of Bend.

Lyle has executive experience with companies like Wang Laboratories, Apple, KPMG/ExIS, Black Diamond Consulting, Cisco Systems and currently Hewlett-Packard.  

After years in the Air Force and at the Univeristy of Oregon - both of where he skied competitively - he earned a degree in illustration from the Academy of Art in San Francisco.   Shortly thereafter, he got his tech start. He began working in the IT industry back when a 1MB disk platter on an IBM mainframe was considered enormous!

Clicking into his bindings on Mt. Bachelor is a familiar a sound for Lyle.   So is shouting "Go Ducks!"   He and his wife, Brenda, love to entertain guests, where they can show off their amazing cooking skills, paired with some Oregon Pinot Noir.
